FAQs
Do you issue HETAS-style certificates?
We issue a professional sweep certificate accepted by home insurers. HETAS installer sign off is separate, but we'll advise if you need it.
What's a smoke test?
We light a controlled smoke source in the appliance and check the flue draws properly and doesn't leak into other rooms, which is essential after any building work.
Can you remove a bird's nest?
Yes, outside the protected nesting season (typically September to February). We fit a cowl afterwards so it doesn't happen again.
